Hands strength in poker changes depending on the situation. Tables below provide you with useful information about the probabilities and strength of the hole cards. Keep in mind that more opponents you have in particular hand, the lower are your chances of winning the pot, even with a strong cards.

For example, even with a pair of aces, which is the best hand pre-flop, your chances of victory may fall from 85% against 2 opponents, down to 31% if there are 10 opponents!

This is simple mathematics. When there 2 opponents – there are 48 other cards left in the deck, but when there are 10 opponents - only 32 cards are left in the deck, which means that almost half of the cards are already in the hands of your opponents and any of them can form all possible hands combinations even if they hold weak cards.
